For real. This is a pressing issue that I hope is addressed in future episodes, because her explanation made absolutely no sense. I'm guessing this is less her fault and more a result of the fact that the original justification also made no sense, but I'd like to hear more about it. What would be the basis for not letting someone play a game when the can't "amend their characters" or whatever. Could it be a religious thing, and if so which one? I can't even imagine it.
Also: I think a good retronaughts episode and/or a 1up feature could be an article discussing bizarre parental censorship. (stuff like how Jen Frank couldn't play RPGs, and that story I think Sharkey told about his friends who had to say the demons/whatever were lions or something so their parents would let them play the game)
