Too Human Silicon Knights | Playstation GameCube Xbox 360 | Diablo-esque What happens when you develop a game for 9 years? You get years of people wanting it, then years of people bashing it, then people forgetting about it until the demo goes out, and then people realizing why they lost interest in the first place.
In all fairness, Too Human's not as bad as everybody seems to think it is; it's just pretty plain, and after the hype buildup (and creator shenanigans), it's hard to go back. Maybe it needs some bling....

Falling Stars AgeTec | Playstation 2 | RPG Lite Amazon informs me that Falling Stars is an RPG geared towards the younger audience. I think it's a game geared towards the cheap people who enjoy brand-new, never-before-marketed last-gen value bin games.

Downloadable Contentment: This Week in DLC

WiiWare: Midnight Pool Gameloft | Wii | Pool With that title I was hoping for a freaky late-night skinny-dipping pool-party simulation. But no. It's just pool. Again. But at least it's not old pool, like it was last week.

VC: Mega Man Capcom | NES via Wii | Mega Man! As the weeks count down toward Mega Man 9, it's only natural that Capcom would try to eke out a few Virtual Console dollars by releasing the earlier games in the series, starting with this one. Buy them again, for the first time! Or better yet, stop at number 3.

VC: Neo Turf Masters SNK | Neo Geo via Wii | Fore play My impressions of games based on their titles are all wrong lately. I assumed this one was about some sort of gang war between The One and the Smiths from The Matrix, but no. Golf.
Actually, that's probably for the best.

XBLA: Galaga Legions Namco-Bandai | Xbox 360 | Shoot-'em-up I don't know much about this one, but if it follows the pattern of recent remakes of classic games improving on their progenitors, then we have nothing to worry about. And if it doesn't, well, that's what demos are for!
[Editor's note: It's completely awesome. If not for the bling, this would be the pick of the week!]

PSN: Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty Sony | PS3 | Platforming with lotsa guns This is a good idea: Release a few hours' worth of areas for an action-platformer for a quarter of the price of a new boxed PS3 game. I like this. This should continue. As for the rest, it’s Ratchet & Clank, which means it's extremely good-lookin' and plays about the same as the first one did on the PS2. You already know if you want this.

Talk about how crappy these games are!
