wumpwoast

I write for GameSpite in my spare time, and with my current number of projects, spare time is this sweet, quaint half-memory for those wee hours spent playing videogames as a little sprout. However, I really love to write, and one makes time for the things and people they love.

Plus there are folks involved in this community whose company is really nice. We reminisce about our formative years and play games and stuff, and it's therapeutic in that "I'm Steve Perry for the next five minutes" oxygen-asphyxiation kind of way.

Current Projects

I've been sporadically contributing to recent and upcoming GameSpite Quarterly issues, writing a personals ad for Ms. Pac-Man and a eulogy for Master Takahashi. And now that Year One, Vol. 2 is out, my litany of Mega Man pieces will be available for your toilet-reading pleasure, like The New Yorker magazine but for videogames. Oh yes.

I've needed images for my Pac-Man Vs.? article for months, and a Gradius 2 MSX article is in the can. Once these projects are done, I'm thinking of calling it a day to focus on music. My long-delayed first EP will be done sometime in 2010 (hope and pray).
